Dr. Joy Narayan Chakraborty is an eminent and experienced Urologist from Guwahati. One of the important milestones he has achieved in his two decade long medical career is the establishment of an independent Urology centre ‘Laser and Stone Urology Clinic’, set up by him in Guwahati.

While listing Dr. Chakraborty’s academic pursuits, it may be noted that he has completed his MBBS and MS (Gen. Surgery) from Guwahati Medical College. In addition, he has earned twin DNB degrees, one in Surgery and the other in Urology, both achieved from Kolkata. Furthermore, completion of the Fellowship program from Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh gives an added edge to his qualifications. 

Since the inception of his career, Dr. Chakraborty served almost a decade of his career at Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi as a Surgeon. Subsequently he has devoted another half decade at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi as a Urologist. His present professional commitments include successful management of his private clinic and his association with International Hospital, Guwahati where he plays the role of a Urologist. He enjoys association with various national and global medical bodies, as an esteemed member of the same.

Dr. Chakraborty visits International Hospital from Monday to Saturday and can be contacted with prior appointment. With respect to Laser and Stone Urology Clinic, Dr. Chakraborty is available at the centre on Sundays too, besides regular week days. This centre offers latest medical amenities some of which include OPD, Laboratory, CT Scan, USG, to name a few.
